Costco Prices Going Up? My $300 Costco Haul

So, I went to Costco today with one goal — to return a pair of pants that were too big for my son. That’s it. Simple, right?

But somehow I left with a cart full of stuff and a receipt over $300. Please tell me I’m not the only one who goes into Costco for one thing and walks out with lots of things I didn’t mean to buy.

And honestly, does it feel like Costco’s getting more and more expensive lately? $300 and I don’t even feel like I got that much! Anyway, below is my Costco haul.

My Costco Haul

Kleenex

First up, Kleenex — these were $5 off, which is the only time I buy them. We go through tissues like crazy, so this was a must-buy.

Polar Seltzer

Then I picked up Polar Seltzer — one of my family’s favorites for drinks. It’s a nice alternative to soda, and I love keeping these in the fridge.

Epoca Cool Plus

Epoca Cool Plus was $2 off, and I’m really trying to get my family into the habit of taking daily probiotics. We’ll see if they actually drink it!

Kirkland Baby Wipes

They were $4 off, and I never buy baby wipes at full price. I always stock up when they’re on sale.

International Delight Coffee Creamer

I was completely out of coffee creamer, so I grabbed the International Delight Vanilla.

Softsoap

Next, Softsoap. It was $3 off, so I went ahead and stocked up. These are always good to have extras of.

Brita Pitcher and Filters

Brita’s on sale right now so I got another Brita pitcher for my upstairs fridge because it was $12.50 off, and I also grabbed the 10 pack of Brita filters since that was $12.50 off too. Huge savings there.

Cantaloupe

This cantaloupe smelled so sweet, I couldn’t resist. Hopefully, it tastes as good as it smells.

Kirkland Eggs

Eggs were on my list, but they were out of the organic ones, so I had to get the regular non-organic. Not my first choice, but I needed them.

Costco Sugar Cookies

These sugar cookies are a total impulse buy. My daughter was with me, so she talked me into buying them.

Costco Birria Tacos

For dinner tonight, I grabbed these birria tacos. They were $4.50 off, and my kids loves them.

Organic Strawberries

These organic strawberries looked so good. Plus, they are my daughter’s favorite fruit. These never last long in our house.

Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Cream+

I also stocked up on Neutrogena Hydroboost — it was $8 off, and I love this moisturizer.

Caesar Salad Kit

Picked up a Caesar salad kit to go with dinner tonight — quick and easy.

Frozen Fish Sticks

Fish sticks are a freezer staple for us. The kids love them, and we were completely out, so I had to restock.

One a Day Women’s Multi-vitamins

I was out of my multivitamins, so I grabbed another One A Day Women’s pack. Can’t skip these.

Probiotics

I also restocked on probiotics since I was out.

Atlantic Salmon Fillet

And finally, salmon. I’m going to marinate this for next week’s dinners.
