Turkey Provolone Sandwich

The Turkey Provolone Sandwich is Back at Costco’s Food Court- Here’s My Review

Costco’s food court just brought back a fan-favorite sandwich:  the Turkey Provolone Sandwich—but not everyone in my household is thrilled.  The turkey sandwich has officially replaced the Chicken Bacon Sandwich, which just so happened to be my son’s favorite.

He’s still a little disappointed, but we gave the returning turkey sandwich a fair try—and honestly, it’s pretty good.

The sandwich is panini-pressed, so it comes out hot with a crispy crust and melty interior. Inside, you’ll find oven-roasted turkey, provolone cheese, red onions, sliced tomatoes, and the star of the show: basil garlic mayonnaise.

Turkey Provolone Sandwich

It’s a generous sandwich for $6.99—not as cheap as some of the other food court staples, but still a solid value for the size and quality.

Personally, I can’t finish a whole one in one sitting—but my son has no problem polishing it off.

One thing I really like is that it’s a hot sandwich, unlike the Chicken Bacon Sandwich, which was served cold. The melted provolone holds everything together, and the basil garlic mayo adds a creamy, garlicky kick that makes the sandwich good.

While I do miss the Chicken Bacon Sandwich—and my son definitely does—I have to admit, the Turkey Provolone is a solid replacement. It’s a nice change from the usual food court options.

If you haven’t tried it yet—or if you remember it from before—it’s definitely worth trying on your next Costco food court visit.

Just be warned: if your household had a die-hard Chicken Bacon fan, you might still hear a few grumbles on the way home.
