1. Trader Joe’s Braised Beef Roast
The Braised Beef Roast is my favorite prepared food from Trader Joe’s. It’s my go-to meal if I’m too busy to cook. The Trader Joe’s Braised Beef Roast takes 20 minutes to cook in the oven. The beef comes out tender. The flavor is rich. It’s perfect with a side of rice or mashed potatoes! And it’s priced right, for $14.99, it can feed my family of four! Plus I like that this is truly a last-minute meal since there is no defrosting required since this is a refrigerated product.
2. Trader Joe’s Mango Peach Yogurt Cups
I can’t leave Trader Joe’s without buying the Trader Joe’s Mango Peach yogurt cups. The Trader Joe’s yogurt cups are my kid’s favorite yogurts. I can only find these flavors at Trader Joe’s- peach and mango. Please don’t discontinue these flavors Trader Joe’s!
3. Trader Joe’s Marinated Fresh Mozzarella
I can eat a whole tub of these fresh mozzarella balls all by myself. It’s that good! I love the flavor of these Trader Joe’s marinated mozzarella balls and I typically eat these Trader Joe’s fresh mozzarella with grape tomatoes.
4. Trader Joe’s Korean Style Beef Short Ribs
My sister got us hooked on Trader Joe’s Korean Style Beef Short Ribs. It’s frozen Korean-style beef short ribs that taste authentic. My kids love them. The only downside is you have to plan ahead and make sure you have time to defrost before cooking. Plus Trader Joe’s Beef Short Ribs is pricey, it doesn’t come with a lot of short ribs. For my family of four, we typically eat 2 bags of Trader Joe’s Beef Short Ribs for dinner. I serve it with a side of rice.
5. Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken
The Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken is another go-to meal if I’m too busy to cook dinner. What I like about Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken is you don’t have to defrost the chicken. You bake it in the oven without defrosting and in 20 minutes you have delicious Chinese take-out quality orange chicken. The Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken is great with white rice. Whenever I go to Trader Joe’s I stock up on Mandarin Orange Chicken- it comes in handy for last-minute meals.
6. Trader Joe’s Cheese Sticks
The Trader Joe’s Cheese Sticks are one of my favorite Trader Joe’s snacks. Whenever I open a box of Trader Joe’s Cheese Sticks, we typically finish it in less than 30 minutes since my kids and husband love it too. The TJ Cheese Sticks taste like parmesan crisps but imagine it as a bread stick. It’s highly addictive and very reasonably priced.
7. Trader Joe’s Honey Roasted Peanuts
The Trader Joe’s Honey Roasted Peanuts is my favorite Trader Joe’s snack food item. It’s the perfect honey-roasted peanuts- sweet and salty and crunchy. My son is allergic to peanuts so I try to keep my home peanut-free. The only exception is the occasional bag of Trader Joe’s honey-roasted peanuts which I stash away and eat in my office. It’s that good!
8. Trader Joe’s Roasted Garlic Hummus
I love Trader Joe’s roasted garlic hummus. I eat it with everything. I have it for lunch with my salad. It’s a great snack with carrots and pita chips. I love how garlicky flavor of Trader Joe’s Garlic Hummus.
9. Trader Joe’s Butter Lettuce
I never leave Trader Joe’s without buying bags of Butter Lettuce. I usually can’t find prewashed bagged butter lettuce in other grocery stores. I love butter lettuce for its mild vegetable flavor plus you can’t beat the price of Trader Joe’s Butter Lettuce!
10. Trader Joe’s Organic Eggs
Compared to other grocery stores, I think Trader Joe’s has the best egg prices. Egg prices have gone up a lot lately but Trader Joe’s egg prices are reasonable. A dozen large organic eggs at Trader Joe’s are $3.99 and a dozen large non-organic eggs at Trader Joe’s are only $2.99. I stock up on eggs whenever I’m at Trader Joe’s.
11. Trader Joe’s Organic Green Grapes
I always buy organic green grapes at Trader Joe’s. It’s reasonably priced and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of their grapes. My kids love them.
12. Trader Joe’s Shells and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese
The Trader Joe’s Shells and White Cheddar Mac and Cheese are my kid’s favorite Mac and Cheese. I like that it’s organic. Plus you can’t beat the price!

Trader Joe’s White Truffle Potato Chips are one of my favorite Trader Joe’s snacks. I love the white truffle flavor of the Trader Joe’s potato chips. Plus at $2.99 a bag- you can’t beat the price!
14. Trader Joe’s Dover Sole Fillet
I always stock up on frozen Trader Joe’s Dover sole fillets. It’s sometimes hard to find in-store because it goes out of stock frequently! But whenever I see it, I buy a lot of it! It’s very reasonably priced. The Trader Joe’s Dover Sole fillets are delicate and thin. It has a mild white fish flavor that my kids eat.
For my husband and I, I usually pan-fry the Dover Sole fillets with caper and butter sauce (check out my recipe). 15. Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese Bites
Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese Bites are my kid’s favorite Trader Joe’s frozen food item. My kids can eat Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese every day (if I let them)! It’s so easy to cook. I pop them in the toaster oven and it’s ready in 20 minutes!
Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese Bites are great playdate snacks or as a dinner side dish. Grown-ups love Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese bites too. It’s great as an appetizer to serve to guests. I always have extra boxes of Trader Joe’s Mac and Cheese Bites in my freezer because it’s easy for last-minute food to serve to unexpected guests.
