Here is a video of my Spaghetti Bolognese recipe.
In my opinion, this is the best spaghetti bolognese recipe. It’s the authentic Italian way of making bolognese pasta sauce by slowly stewing ground beef for hours. It’s the real way to make spaghetti bolognese! Know that this is not a quick, last-minute ground beef recipe. Give yourself at least an hour to make this spaghetti bolognese. Ideally, 2 hours if you have the time! It’s a good pasta sauce to make ahead. I like to make extra and freeze the extra bolognese sauce in the freezer.
I promise you will enjoy this pasta bolognese recipe- it is so tasty and delicious. If you are looking for healthy dinner ideas for the family, then try making this spaghetti bolognese sauce. My kids and husband love it.
Spaghetti Bolognese Sauce Recipe Tips
Tip 1: Sear the ground beef
The key to making this spaghetti bolognese sauce is to sear the ground beef until there are brown bits. After the liquid to evaporates allow the ground beef to sear. This is what makes this spaghetti bolognese sauce so good!
Tip 2: Season well with salt
Every time you add water, make sure you add salt. Keep tasting as you go! Add salt as needed.
Tip 3: The longer you cook it, the better
The process of cooking the water down, seasoning well, and searing the ground beef is what makes this spaghetti bolognese recipe so good. You are basically alternating between stewing ground beef and searing ground beef! The more time you have to cook your spaghetti bolognese sauce, the better it will taste! I suggest giving yourself 1-2 hours to make your spaghetti bolognese. Make extra to freeze!
