Crispy Panko Crusted Oven Baked Tilapia Recipe
Crispy Panko Crusted Oven Baked Tilapia is a kid-friendly fish recipe where the fish will come out crispy and crunchy.
Cook Time 30 minutes mins
- 1 lb Tilapia Fillets (or white fish)
- 1 cup Panko
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 Eggs
- Salt
- Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C)
Add panko, garlic, salt and pepper in one dish
Scramble the eggs in shallow bowl. Add salt and pepper
In a separate dish, add flour, salt and pepper
Line an oven sheet pan with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil
Rub salt on both sides of tilapia fillet. Then coat both sides of the tilapia fillet in the flour mixture. Then coat both sides of the tilapia with egg and then coat both sides of the tilapia fillet in the panko mixture. Place it on the oven sheet pan. Drizzle some olive oil on the fillets. Don't overcrowd.
Bake the tilapia fillets in the oven for 25 minutes at 350 F (180 C)
At around 15 minutes, flip the tilapia fillets
Remove from the oven and serve!
